The Media Services department of GAPC provides volume VHS and S-VHS duplication, interformat transfers, international standards conversions (NTSC, PAL, SECAM), packaging, shipping and master tape storage.

Volume Duplication
GAPC's volume duplication facility has 100 recorders and features state of the art digitally controlled routing and precision engineering, ensuring that all video and audio signals remain at optimum quality levels.

Using a custom designed test unit, every copy is checked three times in accordance with GAPC's total quality management program to guarantee faultless copies.

Once a copy is made, the department offers a wide variety of choices for labels, cases, sleeves and packing containers. Distribution is also provided for our clients on a local, national and international basis.

Transfers and Tape Stock
GAPC provides inter-format transfers, volume broadcast dubs, tape stock and Betacam(SP) cleaning and recycling.

Inter-format transfers include Digital Betacam, 1" C-Format, Betacam(SP), _"(SP), DVCPro, S-VHS and Hi-8mm.

Broadcast dubbing and broadcast conversion coordination (NTSC, PAL, SECAM) are offered in moderate volumes. Project archiving to digital formats and transfers from non-linear systems is provided.

Tape Storage
GAPC offers master tape storage in secure, climate controlled environment. GAPC currently houses some 7,000 masters for over 250 clients.

In association with our subsidiary company, Cyclop Vision Inc., GAPC's Media Services department also provides media library management for our clients' video, audio, image, and graphic holdings.

Betacam(SP) Cleaning and Recycling
GAPC provides a unique Betacam(SP) cleaning and recycling service using the Research Technologies International TapeChek system. TapeChek allows you to renew used Betacam(SP) stock to 95% of its original capabilities, or to clean existing masters to remove particle build up which causes dropouts.

CD-ROM Replication
GAPC provides CD-ROM replication services for any requirement from small orders to high volume for distribution. Custom full colour inkjet printing directly to CD-ROM is also available in-house.
