Vision
Cyclop, GAPC's media software subsidiary, is an information technology company which has specialized in multi-media library management software development and consulting services for more than twelve years.
Cyclop Vision assists companies in the organization and systemization of their multimedia inventories and holdings, which typically include such media as film, video, images, digitized files, audio and documentation.
Cyclop developed and employs CYCLOPTM, a proprietary, professional level multimedia management and archival software package. Services are offered both in establishing the initial database and as an ongoing process.
What is CYCLOPTM
CYCLOPTM provides a unique platform to organize, search and manage multimedia holdings for a variety of delivery mechanisms, including the internet. The CYCLOPTM Multimedia Library Management System is a PC based, relational / networked database for the management and retrieval of film footage, video material, audio material, digitized files and other multimedia related elements.
The CYCLOPTM System has a wide range of multimedia management modules including:
Production Module
Maintains all of the details on completed productions including copyrights,
inventory and license agreements.
Stock Module Maintains
an inventory of stock material including shot-by-shot cataloguing of each
tape.
Still Image Module
Assists users in managing their still image holdings. The module can manage
most file formats and includes image capture capability (with appropriate
hardware).
Query Module
This module is designed to be a stand alone research and retrieval system
and will perform comprehensive search operations across the other modules
using a high speed, full text search engine.
Loan Tracking Module
Allows the user to monitor the multimedia material that is loaned out
from and returned to inventory.
Duplication Order Module
Helps facilitate, manage and monitor your sales and duplication commitments.
Licensing Agreement Module
Allows the user to manage all licensing agreements entered into for any
of your multimedia assets.
